Calling all street artists – meeting Tuesday 7 May

JoyceTreasureStreetArt_Kirkdale

SEE3 have a new project focusing on Sydenham called Pop Goes Sydenham, which will see the following:

  • four pop up shops opening through May and June
  • a series of evening events and supper clubs through June
  • a collaboration with the Sydenham Arts Festival in July to bring pop up theatre to empty spaces
  • a club night at Zanzibar at some time in July or August.

As part of the project the team want to build on the strong arts identity that exists in Sydenham with the Sydenham Arts Festival and specifically the Visual Arts Trail, by bringing art to the streets. Street art in the form of graffiti style art will be a main focus, but the team would also like to explore ways to bring all arts to the high street.

If you would like to be involved in the project come along to a meeting at Jill Community Hub at 27 Sydenham Road at 7pm on Tuesday 7th May, or drop the team an email at theshoprevolution@see3.co.uk.
