What the heck is happening with Jill?

We haven’t done the best job at communicating what’s happening in Jill at the moment and moving forward. So we’d like to bring you up to speed.

Following Pen’s fantastic job at getting the hub ready for The Big Launch on 1st December we have been lucky enough to have the space temporarily occupied by the Sydenham Visual Arts Trail lead by the fantastic and very capable Bruce Harrison. They are currently showing work by local artists with many works for sale including a wide variety of crafts that would make excellent Christmas gifts.

We have just appointed Corinne Furness as Hubs Coordinator (more on Corinne later), and we are about to introduce Artists in Residence as the final addition to the team. We hope that the new team will step in to make their mark in the New Year. We’ll bring you details of planned activities very soon.

And for a limited time only we have The National Museum of Luketia (from Spontaneous Productions) in residence at the back of Jill.  They will be open Friday 14 December 2-4pm and 6-9pm, Saturday 15 December and Sunday 16 December 11am-1pm and 2pm-4pm.  The museum is FREE (donation welcome).  Don’t miss it!
