Free gig, with free mulled wine!
If you haven’t yet been to Conquers Wardrobe, our very own shop, what better time than this friday when Mishaped Pearls are playing an acoustic in-shop gig @ 7pm. We are open all the way through till 9pm, with mulled wine flowing, while you get that last minute present in great Conquer company as always!
Mishaped Pearls are the brainchild of guitarist and songwriter Ged Flood and classically-trained soprano Manuela Schuette. Their sound is a unique contemporary blend of classical, folk and world music, inspired by the colourful world of the Baroque, from where the group take their name – ‘Misshapen pearl’ is the literal translation of the word ‘Baroque’.
This is the last weekend in the pop up shop to come see what the fuss is about. It’s been great getting to know the locals of South East London. You are a cracking lot, so come say hi on your way back from work!
