Two community hubs posts available to apply for

Applications for two further posts for the SEE3 Portas Pilot are sought. These two posts are to support development and delivery of the two Community Hubs, Jack & Jill.

The Artist in Residence role will be responsible for creatively engaging with the public about the future of their high streets, identity and place in the two community hubs. This will include delivering a programme of exhibitions and events. The budget for this role is in the region of £9,000. The full job description can be downloaded here: Creative artist advert

The Hubs Coordinator role will be responsible for coordinating activities in the two community hubs, including a volunteer programme to man the shops. The role will also need to identify and secure a suitable shop in Forest Hill, and oversee its re-fit.  The budget for this role is in the region of £10,000. Applications for both roles must be submitted to Petra Marshall at petra.marshall@lewisham.gov.uk by noon on Wednesday 14 November. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed on Thursday 22 November, and will be expected to start as soon as possible thereafter.

Candidates may choose to:

  1. apply for one role only
  2. apply for both roles
  3. apply as a consortium for both roles (i.e. two or more people)
